We are encoding Weinstein episode.

My friend and I are receiving the episode from SZJ via priority mail. We should be receiving it tomorrow (Friday). To answer some questions asked previously:

We are encoding it in many different formats, including VCD, DivX 5.0.2, and DivX 4.12. We understand people want it at the highest quality.....the only problem is finding reliable FTP's that are fast enough and support enough people to upload a VCD episode. We will be initially uploading to a couple FTP's.....if necessary, we will rent one for a couple months solely for this episode.

The most widely accessible version will be the DivX format. We are shooting for 50-70mb.

It will take us a couple days to get all of the versions finished, but once we are done we will post the ftp addresses on this newsgroup as well as the damnyouall.net forums.

I'd encourage _only_ people whose newservers drop parts from these groups to get them via FTP. I for one intend on getting it from FTP and then putting it up on an Australian newsgroup.....

Newsgroups are ok, just post the vcd version, and if we could have an automatic report each week, for perhaps four weeks then everyone could get it, guaranteed.

also, that way no one will be accused of usenet abuse, if a different person posts it each week.
