Amazingly enough, the folks at Google have put up a complete usenet archive going back to 1981. Anybody who wishes to, can search this archive and possibly find answers to their questions.

You might also want to try morpheus or kazaa (do a www.google.com search) to download episodes that aren't on DVD. Of course, you'll have to watch them on your computer unless you can find a VCD-compliant version that you can play in Europe. You are in Europe, right?
No one in the group currently has an FTP setup (as far as I know), but Craig will probably have his up towards the end of January. (Back to school by then?) There will be an announcement in this group if and when he puts his FTP back up.
You might also want to try alt.binaries.mpeg for VCD quality postings of Family Guy. I'm not sure if there are any there now, but the new episodes show up there about a day.

I only need episodes from Series 2 onwards...the episodes after "The King Is Dead"...so I'm not bothered about the first episode being ASF. Also, if you find that ASF is a pain in the ass, then I'm sure that you can convert it with MPEGVCD programs etc...
I'm finding episodes on Mirc, i'm searching around the channel lists on the networks...I'm slowly finding stuff, and thanks for that channel....I'll give it a look.
How can't you get on DALNET Bradley? It's pretty simple.. just download Mirc32.exe from www.mirc.com and connect to it...or have you been banned or something?

Hmm.. They do that sometimes...but it's probably not you. Sometimes, when someone is on a particular ISP and is spamming or basically being a total pain in the ass, the OPs look at the situation. If they realise that there is only a user who is downloading from the channels that is on that ISP, and not someone who is serving or is an OP (someone important), then they'll ban the entire ISP. So, it's probably not you, it's a good chance that someone else on the same ISP on you made the OPs ban the ISP from the DALNET network for being a twat.
Have you ever used DALNET before with your current ISP? If you have...did you ever get kicked or banned the last time you used it for misbehaviour?

Oh I've tried that and I've tried many others...Kazaa, Morpheus, Aimster, Direct Connect there are more... I'm currently using MIRC, and I've found LOADS of channels with the episodes, it's just that they're not very good quality and the queues are literally FOUR DAYS long. Also, I'm currently on 56k, and I'm waiting for cable to hit my area, which should be within the next few months (yah.. it' not in my area yet...).

Well..actually, I've got a DVD player which plays VCD movies in all formats.
