Hi folks .. my monthly or so update on what's happening on FGF.com ...
First off, thanks to everyone that supports the site. We're at almost 23,500 registered citizens of Quahog and that is just unreal.
A few citizens have written that they are unable to log in. I finally narrowed down the problem and everyone should be able to get back into the system.
For Citizens, I've put up lots of media that has sprung up recently (The MTV Music Award clip, Stewie's campaign for California Governor, etc) partial to make sure it continues to be available even after the 'official' hosts are done with it and archive it off and also to convert it into some sort of usable format (MPG/VCD/SVCD) for proper archival purposes of the die hard fans. Much of it is WMV or other formats that simply don't archive to CD/DVD well.
I added 40 more HQ DVD caps to the Gallery for episode THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT PAULIE.
Started going through the 300 or so back references sitting in my in box and added several to the site (Yes, I've heard the pleas for a 'Newest References' page - I'm working on it).
Finally, I've added a review for the Volume 2 set if anyone is interested.
Lastly, thanks to all the great letters about my home-brew Commentaries. I really appreciate the kind letters - and yes, I plan to do more - its just about finding the time.
That about wraps it up this month. Thanks again for supporting the show and the site. All our hard work supporting Family Guy has been heard and we're getting more of our favorite show. EVERYONE involved (from fan to webmaster to campaiger) deserves a big thank you.
