He had a guest voice on the August 1st episode, and he has a pretty easy to distinguish voice, but I had no idea who he played. Anyone hae a clue?

I couldn't pick out his voice either. I would expect his character's voice to be similar to his normal speaking voice (or Cosgrove's on Freakazoid), but I didn't hear it even after rewatching it. He wasn't the bar owner or the judge - 2 roles that call for an older sounding voice.
He may have been Steve Bellows, the raspy-voiced convict who threatened to kill Peter & company. However, it didn't really sound like Asner to my ear. I'll rewatch those scenes again and see if my opinion changes.

I'm not sure which character Ed Asner was, but Steve Bellows was Seth MacFarlane.
