family guy meets the simpsons

I wish they would make a show where the simpsons meet the griffins I think it would be funny to see homer and peter together.

You know the sad part about Peter's appearance on the Simpsons is that it was actually an insult to the Family Guy. It was their way of saying Peter is a ripoff of Homer. I guess the show writers or directors or something didn't get along.

And yet the Simpsons have started using Family Guy style "asides" and upped the scatalogical pop culture references ever since FG first aired. I guess when you reach the point of having Richard Gere preaching about Buddhism on your show, you have to start looking to other shows for material that's actually funny!

They did a Simpsons/The Critic crossover many years ago. I'd urge FOX not to try something like that again.

I LOVED that episode. I want them to do another one. The Critic was another excellent show that those idiots at Fox screwed over. Of course if they ever did a Family Guy meets the Simpsons then I'm sure Peter would kick the crap out of Homer!
