They're releasing the first 13 episodes of season 4 already? Before the season is even finished? Unprecedented, AFAIK.

...is true, does that mean the movie torrents that has been flying around for the past 2 weeks are just a bluff, and not actually the movie at all?

Oh. I bought the big box set of all three so I didn't realise that. I could swear i'd seen all three seasons on sale separately, though that was quite a while ago so my mind may be playing tricks.

Are you from Europe? In North America, Family Guy was released in 2 boxsets. In Europe and Australia though, it was released in 3 boxes with one season per box.

Okay, fine.

Bottom line, anybody i've seen talking about the movie is referring to the same one that in the credits at the end has a cast for three parts separated. Each part is named after an episode that is supposedly part of season 4, and will supposedly be on the season 4 DVD, yet the info above says the two DVD releases will not duplicate material. This doesn't add up for me - i'm amazed i'm the only one.

I think it was a mistake in the press release. Vol. 3 is going to have 13 episodes....I think the marketting people just grabbed the Season 4 production list, and just assumed those were the titles that would be on Vol 3 without realising 3 of those production titles actually make up the DVD Movie. I have a feeling the last 3 episodes on Vol. 3 will be the episodes that air in September (Perfect Castaway, Peter's Got Woods, and Jungle Love).

Ah ok that would make more sense, because the movie isn't really fit for TV (normal network timeslots at any rate) with all the language.

I bet that's a typo as well. Fox marketting just wanted to get a press release out there...they already fucked up w/ the episode titles...I'm sure they fucked up w/ the price as well. I bet you anything it'll be like $20 or less at Target, Best Buy, etc.

Same here, the 1st dvd box was 5 bucks cheaper for twice as much material. No way I'm buying it unless they bundle it with the stewie movie for the same price.
