did anyone notice....

Here's a couple of gags which you may not have seen - wasnt until 3rd or 4th viewing that i spotted them....

102 - I Never Met The Dead Man the first star trek scene peter is watching on the telly - at the end when captain (kirk?)'s pants rip his underwear has 'captains log' written on them.

314 - Peter Griffin - Husband, Father, Brother (about 8 minutes into the episode) when Brian is reading the diary (Ned Griffin?) and stops to mimic/read out the laugh (ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, like Peter's), if you freeze the video when he holds up the diary you can read on....

"she's just a horse, but i could tell she knew she was out matched ha ha ha ha ha. I stepped in a cow poop this afternoon. It was so funny that i almost pooped MYSELF but luckily i didn't."

so now you know :-)

Personally I feel I have about every reference connection beat. Unless it's been noticed.

In "Brian In Love," when Stewie evesdrops and discovers that Brian's in love with Lois, he does so while eating an apple.

In "Dammit Janet," when Brian discovers that Stewie's a sucker for a woman with blue eyes ("Ha, they're brown eyes!" - "Aha! You prove my point."), he does so eating an apple. Minor, but existant.

Did you notice Kofi Annan's strong indian accent in on of the episodes. It seems they only have 1 indian guy for all foreign accents.

I think it's symptomatic of Family Guy's main weakness, which is the voice talent. So many of the non-core characters sound like a thinly disguised Brian (newscaster, Lois' father).
