The mystery of "Echo" solved? -----------------------------
According to today's Planet Daria update, Tiffany and Ms. Barch are voiced by Ashley Albert. Could this be the identity of the mysterious "Echo"?

More of my investigations have revealed something interesting. On the "Daria" video end credits, the voice actors for all three episodes are listed alphabetically. However, the place where Lisa Collins' name is supposed to go is instead taken by Janie Mertz. Problem is, she didn't appear in the credits until episode #111. The other thing is that her name is the only one out of order in the entire list.
This begs the question: Is Janie Mertz actually Lisa Collins using a different name? There's more evidence to suggest this. Collins is also supposed to have done Sandi (and, according to PD, her mother, Linda), and unlike Brittany, *HER* voice hasn't changed a bit from "The Invitation". If indeed Ms. Mertz is actually Ms. Collins, then Brittany's changing voice can be explained by a gradual evolution of it, much like Dan Castellaneta's Homer Simpson voice evolved from something akin to Walter Matthau (which, according to him, is actually who he based the voice on) to what it is now.
