I didn't celebrate. I was babysitting. *grumbles*
Incidentally, I can remember people posting messages like this on this newsgroup two years ago. How sad.

Oh, rehiya again folks. I keep on not having enough time for online stuff. Darnit.
It's okay. I think as you get older these celebrations get old, anyway. I'm sitting here in front of a computer some 30 minutes before midnight local time. I'm not too enthused. Just happy I'm home.
Or not, actually. Depends on your own personal definition of sadness.
*smiles widely*
I've gotten back into grunge. Used to be a total addict. I told you guys about how I cried for six hours straight that afternoon in 1994 when they announced that Kurt Cobain had died, right? I was sitting there on my bed, watching MTV coverage and sobbing. ANYWAYS, I decided to reclaim my early adolescence. Dug out my Nirvana stuff. Totally loving it.

I was at a party but it was quite subdued considering the occasion. More subdued than the Y2K party at the same house last year in fact. At midnight we all went out into the garden and watched the fireworks going off on the horizon in all directions ... and just like last year, none of us had thought to bring any fireworks ourselves! Still I quite enjoyed it.
