MTV On-air sched. Changes Fri/Sat.

Well, for those of you who are Daria and B&B fans, there's been a little schedule shuffling. Today's 3 o'clock ep won't air. (Well, it's only "The New Kid," anyway. <g>) Instead, MTV is airing 2 Daria eps from 1 AM-2AM EDT and from 2-6AM it's a B&B moron-a-thon. More B&B will air Satuday Nite/Sunday Morning from 1:30AM-3AM EDT. Warm up them VCRS! Yes, I know that the eps will have credits stripped off, which many of you hate (myself included), but, hey, it beats a test pattern, or worse, a Real World snivel-a-thon. ("No, you don't understand *me*!" "Uh-unh! *I'm* the misunderstood one. *You* just won't admit it!" "Yeah, right! You could never understand *me*!")

This schedule info didn't come from the MTV website, it came from much more reliable sources, namely ClickTV and Excite, as well as my cableco's on-screen schedule that I check when I set the VCR.

Also, more B&B will air next week at 7:30PM EDT mon-thurs.

An interesting side of Quinn emerges as well.

Bob (as in "SIR Robert") though if I had a date with Daria I'd certainly know better than to call her "Darcy" or "ma'am". Don't think I'd need cards either.

By the comment I made, I was referring to the heated debate about the ep that has occurred in the past. A lot of people didn't like it. Personally, I'm neutral towards it. It was okay-- not wonderful, not awful. It WAS interesting to see OH go after someone who wasn't Trent-- it did add a little more depth to her character. And although Ted was a bit of a dink (IMHO), it wasn't all his fault-- Daria rejected him first. So, yeah, there was some character development, but I dunno... it just didn't strike me as being as good as some of the other really good eps.

Yeah, she uses the word "want" in the same sentence as the word "book." <g> She's still the same ol' manipulative and deceitful Quinn, tho.

One thing that kinda had me go "hunh?" was why would Daria tell Quinn that Ted had blown her off? If she's mum about other aspects of her love life, why on Earth would she suddenly open up to Quinn, given Quinn's nature? (Answer: because the writers needed a way to make the next scene happen, I know, but, really, it does kinda stick out like a sore thumb...)

Uh, well, actually, the Sunday block now goes from Noon-6PM EDT, according to clickTV. And for those of you wondering, yes, Esteemsters will air on 10/14 at 3:00 pm. (Start your video collections...) <g>
