If we win this one, great; if not, it was a hell of a run, wasn't it? And besides, we can all claim the ultimate victory here: "Daria" is still in production, and will be for at least one more season (and IMHO things look good for a fifth season as well). The "Pinky & The Brain" and "Animaniacs!" fans can't say the same; what is the victory there? A win for "Daria" might have had some leverage with the suits at MTV -- proof that the fans are dedicated, and that "Daria" deserves continued (and improved) support -- whereas a win for the other two will gain their fans bragging rights... but bragging rights fade in time, and won't bring their shows back.

Bottom line: More power to those who will uphold the honor of OH, but I'm pulling out of the whole sordid affair (and let the smug ones amongst the P&TB and A! fans make of this what they will). I'm going to pursue more interesting "Daria"-related things. Good luck!

Agreed. I stopped voting two days ago after I realised that the opposition was not accepting the competition as good-natured rivalry. For lovers of WB cartoons filled with all kinds of crazy antics (Wiley Coyote comes to mind), the animaniacs fans sure have no sense of humor about this. If you go read a.t.animaniacs, you will see them whining that this contest is "unfair" and threatening all kinds of complaints to USA weekend. BTW, FWIW, ETC, ETC, I never voted either way knowing that the excessive voters would pick up the slack. We have a good show on our hands, and its strong run despite lack of publicity really shows how strong a following it really has.
