With the disappearance of The Daria Warehouse I've begun vid capturing the episodes. Currently 10 are up - a mix of season 2 and 3 episodes, and more are coming in at a rate of 2 to 4 per day in 34k and 80k streams.
The people who tried accessing them late last night/this morning may have had some troubles; my ISP was eating it big time while I was attempting to upload and ended up corrupting the files. They should be fine now however.

And at least with multiple sites, there's less traffic to each individual site. That's a *bad* thing if you're trying to make money off your site, but it's an excellent thing if you're just trying to provide content. There's a reason the concept of 'mirror sites' was created...

I've been working since March specializing in Daria multimedia (starting with sounds out the ying yang. Don't ask how many, you might be frightened). When did you put in your sounds? I've been obviously targetting my site at those viewers who were interested in Daria sounds and screen captures. Hell, a search engine turned up my site as a place for video for some reason (aolsearch IIRC). By way of contrast, it looks to me that your site is meant to appeal to a broader base of viewers; some fanfic, though nowhere near that of the OD archive (then again, how many sites are that huge? I mean MJP quoted me 63 megs + the message board traffic. YIPE considering how little of that is binary data), some videos, though nowhere near as many as the old Warehouse (yet - that's obviously going to change very soon), a larger than average sounds archive, though not yet as many as my own site. The trivia is a nice touch I remember from Planet Daria. Some fan illustrations, though not as many as OD again...If I got away from my point, it's that there's room for the both of us.
Hell, I've been experimenting with Realvideo streams since It Happened One Nut was out (which is why the 56k stream is available for that; the high bitrate one was a single 220k stream that's too large to upload).
And considering I haven't been ripping your content (if you want to check checksums or whatever of the files, go ahead), there's little room for complaint. All IMO anyway, so take it for what it's worth (or isn't worth, as the case may be ;)

I keep getting this paranoid fear that I crashed The Warehouse... I've got a janky connection (*technically* 56k dialup, never connects better than 26400) that keeps getting server resets, and one time I accidentally downloaded one of the .rm files while trying to fix and/or work around that. If that paranoia turns out to be reality, I humbly apologize and will report for drawing and quartering at any convenient time and location.

Don't worry about it - every time you see a streaming episode you're downloading it - Realplayer just isn't saving it locally. Hell, I downloaded *all* of the .rm's from The Warehouse sometime in February while screwing around with X-FileGet. In fact I'd suggest downloading the episodes locally so you can view them without worrying about your connecting crapping out on you. Want to know how? Well, there's two ways. The easy way is grabbing X-FileGet and feeding it the .ram file - it'll automatically grab all the .rm's (this is the only way you can do this if it's a pnm stream - eg pnm://somedomain.net/collmovie.rm). The manual way is to download the .ram locally and edit it in a text editor - you'll see a playlist of files - you can use a downloader to grab (your browser may @#$# up and try and save it as text otherwise). Most streams are http:// - which you can save no problem. But if it's pnm:// then your only recourse is to use X-FileGet.
Did I make myself clear? Probably not. Oh hell. Give a yell if you need further help :)

Eh. I figured it out when it happened by accident. RealPlayer gave me the error, listed the .rm file I opened the page... analyzed what was happening for a few seconds, and predicted the names of all the .rm files.

Hey, I'm a NET student. (Literally - I'm taking a course called Network Engineering Technology, acronym NET.) I'm literally trained to figure out cryptic instructions...
And oddly enough, I've even taken a course which was supposed to teach me how to translate cryptic instructions into "Luserspeak" - the language of the technically challenged.
