I was at the store and purchasing my copy in a little under 10 minutes.

Well I've waited a long time for this rag to finally hit and now it's here!

Some highlights.

• I didn't know Glen Eichler was in the 'Freakin Friends' video?!

I'm checking it out now even as I type this.

• It was interesting reading about the 'aborted' attempt of a pseudo Season
• I was surprised that MTV still wanted more episodes!

• Aunt Amy's coming back?!! Whooohooo!

These are only the tastier tidbits regarding the Michelle Klein-Hass article in Toon Magazine #24

Well I made a mistake it seems that Glen Eichler 'played bass' in the video for 'Freakin' Friends'. He didn't appear in it.

I wish I could tell you where to pick up a copy in your area.

After annoying the newstand in my area for about a month, I finally got on good terms with the people who work there.

Thus the phone call.

You could go to www.toonmagazine.com and see if they can ship you out one. Otherwise I don't know.

My local Border's bookstore also carries the magazine but my newstand alerted me first.

If you have a Border's in your area you might try them.

I was also impressed with the article Toon Magazine did on 'The Mighty Heroes'!

For those who remember that old cartoon, and 'Diaper Man' in particular, you'll know what I'm talking about.

It was so cool to see and here about those characters again.

One of those forgotten television shows from my childhood.

Now if I can find ANYONE who remembers the old show 'Make A Wish' and a site besides, TVPARTY who has ANY information on it, I would be in their debt.

But I digress...

Eep! I am in Philadelphia....another time when there was a Daria story in Toon, I found the magazine at Tower Records.

I sort of vaguely remember this. Was it a cartoon on its own or part of another show?

I haven't seen the show in, literally, decades but I vaguely remember it being shown by itself.

I was very, very, young. That's probably why I related to 'Diaper Man' so much.

That elastic nipple tip made his baby bottle a pretty good swinging club.

The other characters were Strong-Man, Cuckoo-Man, Tornado Man, and Rope-Man.

I found out much later that Ralph Bakshi made the cartoon. If you don't know who HE is then this is for those that remember those 'midnight showings' of 'Fritz the Cat' and 'Wizards'..

There was also a Magneto-Man who had a boy sidekick with an English accent, and a dispatcher with a cigar in his mouth who wore a visor. I watched it on Saturday mornings when I was in college.
