Thanks, recap, blah blah blah :)

First of all... Thanks to all those who wished me a happy birthday. It was a great birthday and part of that reason is because of your birthday wishes. And thanks to those who wished me happy birthday in private as well.

Believe it or not, I have yet to exercise my 21-hood!! Yeah, that's right, I didn't get drunk yesterday. I didn't even touch a single drop of alcohol. LOL, I'm waiting for payday on Friday so I can buy myself a wine cooler on the way home from picking up my check and enjoy it in full legal splendor. Maybe I can buy two of them and really get buzzed...! Anyways, the way I ended up spending my birthday was going to school and getting treated out for lunch at a buffet place...oy, lots of food...good thing I didn't eat breakfast...and at 10 p.m., when I got home from my evening class, I found out Mom had made these delicious things...little hot dogs wrapped inside crescent rolls...never had them before...they're GOOD...ate two...then spent some time on the phone with Barry (grins inanely)...spent a LITTLE time online...then went to my room and slept. Oh yeah, and someone on this other forum I spend an inordinate amount of time at made me a neato graphic for my birthday...here's a link to the last thread I started up so you can see what it looks like:

And all in all it was a pretty nice birthday. :)

Sounds to me like pigs in a blanket, which is, like, the only example of Dutch food :) (besides taking food from other places and making it really cheaply). Although it showed up in Ranma "You serve pigs... in bedding?"

take cocktail weenies and a package of Pillsbury crescent rolls, cut the rolls into pieces, put some cheese on the weenie, roll in a bit of roll dough, bake for a bit (per package) and enjoy!

Awwwwww...thanks...now only if my 21st YEAR of existence could be as good as that one day...it would make for a nice little shocking change from the ordinary...and for once my parents DIDN'T fuss over the birthday...FINALLY...after the fiasco that was my 18th birthday...I *hate* being given birthday parties, I don't want all that attention on me and besides they always turn out crap...I'd rather get treated out for lunch...with NO mention of a birthday from ANY wait staff.... :)
