A little ode to Daria

I love "Daria." Way back in the days of B&B I thought she was a cool character and was thrilled when she got her own show. I am 22/m and love the show.

Daria's view on the world is one I share and her outcast result in high school is something I can relate to. I bet many of you can too, a lot of us felt that way back in the day. Jane makes a great sidekick for Daria and Trent is also top notch.

I am still waiting for Jake to be a better character.

What is also great is that Daria's ethics can be challenge at times she's human, falling as she shows she's not superior:

-Her wanting to look good (glasses/contacts) -Her down feelings when Tom calls her on being afraid to get close to someone.

Better in what way? A better father or husband? Or do you mean less of that Homer Simpson-ish quality the writers have been giving him?
