Celebrity Deathmatch is showing here in Britain soon, so I'd like to hear some opinions on it. As a fan of Daria, will I enjoy it, or is it the same kind of lowbrow trash MTV usually puts out?

Celebrity Deathmatch was kind of interesting when it started, but it's become pretty lame, not just due to the program itself, but also the constant re-runs they show.

You may like it, but not from any similarity to Daria. There's no wit, subtlety, or any intelligence to speak of. But some of the matchups are amusing. Basically, it's a one-joke show. Still, it's better than Loveline, Road Rules, or Real World.

Celebrity Deathmatch has been on MTV UK & Ireland for a while now, I thought. I've certainly seen many a death match myself. It's kinda funny initially, but once you've seen one celebrity dismembered, you've seen 'em all - there are only so many ways you can brutally murder a person, and I think that they've all been exhausted even at this early stage.
