Ok, I seemed to get the idea from Jane's Addition that Daria and Trent aren't going to become a couple (at least anytime soon, if ever). So is there any guy who could win Ms.M's heart?

I do think that she was interested in Ted. And I wouldn't write Trent off completely. And just as they introduced the Ted character, they could introduce another. I wouldn't worry too much about Daria.

Well, of course, that's quite true. I was a high school non-dater. I suppose I may never really know whether it was by choice or circumstance. I guess it depends on whether my self-esteem meter is on an uptick or a downtick at the moment.
There are two ways of looking at this: 1. Daria doesn't date in high school--she's just like me. 2. Daria does start dating--there's hope for us all.
Technically, Daria does date. She has been on "dates" in previous episodes, not even counting that farce with Robert in "The New Kid."
Here's my take on it: Daria IS like me. She reminds me of myself in so very many ways. She doesn't date because she's so much more intelligent and insightful than most of her classmates that she finds them dull and uninteresting. She'd rather sit at home with a book than waste three hours of her life on a stupid date with these morons. Sound familiar? But what if she found someone who wasn't dull and uninteresting? She thought Ted was interesting. If Daria met someone who was an intellectual soulmate then I think she ought to go for it. That's no more than I would hope for myself--and everyone else on the NG. Maybe there is hope for us all.

Hey, i'm a "newbie" to this group. there seem to be only 2 spam posts, and only one of them was for "huge tits, uk models - free", so that's a good start. and yeah, in response to the above two posts, this group appears to be extremely well bred, which would seem to be indicative of the general daria fan-base in my experience. so, um, good work everyone.
