I noticed MTV does not appear to be running "Daria" in its usual
afternoon time slot this week? Anybody know why?
Since this NG is my only source of information about the show, has
anyone heard about any upcoming schedule changes for it? Since I work
an ever-changing schedule, my VCR is the only way I get to see our
heroine and I need to know what time to set it for. Better yet, does
MTV have its dartboard schedule available online? Any information
appreciated.la la LA la la...
The weekday showings this week have been bumped due to specials regarding the MTV video music awards. According to what's been posted here, next week the weekday showings return, but at 3pm eastern.

Well, MTV does post a weekly schedule on their site. But a better place to look is either TV Guide's site (tvgen.com) or ClickTV (clicktv.com). They go 14 days into the future, and you can search for "Daria" and get a quick list of all the episodes and air times for the next 2 weeks. If you're lucky, they might even have episode names to go with it.
As far as this week is concerned, I believe our regularly scheduled "Daria" has been preempted by MTV's shameless self-promotion of the VMAs. From what I understand, Our Heroine will return next week.

"Daria" repeats will return on Monday, bumped up to 3:00pm EST (for the convenience of kids getting out of school, I suppose). But, the regularly scheduled 10:30pm showing appears to be bumped in favor of some stupid (IMHO) Marilyn Manson special. More of MTV's crack creative thinking, I suppose...

Me too. At first I could accept the explanation that it was for VMA 'coverage' but it seems the only thing that got bumped was Daria. BTW, if anyone ever has the chance, could they drop a bomb on those 'chattering hosts' since they are the most annoying thing I've ever seen.
