MTV Reruns "Is It College Yet?" on July 25, 2002

According to tv.yahoo.com they will be showing "Is It College Yet?" on MTV (Go figure!)

Of course this is on a Thursday morning when I am at work...damnit!

This may be one the last times you see this episode uncut. Once Noggin airs IICY? it will probably be heavily edited.

MTV has been notorious for cutting up these movies just to squeeze in a little more ad time.

Well, fire up your VCR's anyway. I'm still buying the CD when it finally drops on August 27th. I'm pretty sure that it will remain uncut...

Heh, they won't. If the Daria series ever hits DVD, I've got a feeling it'll be under Noggin, and heavily-edited. It'll cost a lot of money to have a composer redo the music for every episode to keep from paying the record companies, and I doubt that a series DVD release (Be it individual releases or a box-set) of a low-rated show is worth the effort. I am making a bet right here and now that Spongebob Squarepants (God I hate that ****ing show) gets a series DVD set release before Daria (And if it was already done, well, there you go).

P.S.: Name all the DVD box-set TV shows and movies you can think of, and try to find one (Other than Clerks) that wasn't a smash hit.

If "Clerks" can get a DVD release, so can other low-rated-but-demanded-by-fans shows. As another example:

"Sports News," not very successful and only lasting two seasons, will be released in its entirety near the end of this year. If the price is right, that will go into our collection. Same goes for Daria (which we personally hope comes out in reasonably priced, responsible spaced season sets).
