Am I the only person who noticed that "Lane Miserables" aired in the US on Bastille Day? ;-)

I seem to be the only one that cares about these sorts of coincidences-- I also managed to point out to nobody in particular that TOATB premiered 20+ years to the DAY (don't remember exactly when) that the cheesy Quark episode with the same title debuted. (It also aired on a Wednesday, even!)
Coincidences? I don't THINK so....

No...Les Miserables took place in 1848 during the uprising. This is different from Bastille Day, which celebrates the storming of the Bastille Prison in 1789. As a product of US schooling, I don't know much else about the period, but I do know that they were 2 very different and separate events.

I do. Even if Les Mis took place in 1789, do you honestly think the random number generator that MTV uses to generate scheduling information would make such a connection? With numerology, you can prove anything...Pick a number and a large enough library and you can create any relationship you want.

I still think that MTV did it on purpose-- but then again, we'll never know for sure-- and that's what keeps conspiracy theorists in business. (Hey, if the UFOlogists brought out all of their proof that the aliens existed at once, then how could they charge for books about "The Hidden Truth," "Conspiracy at Area 51," and other such stuff? This way, they can come out with a new book every few years or so, and live like middle-class kings-- after they send the aliens their cut, of course. <g>)
