Somebody remind me.... the MTV -> Channel 5 time lag for season 4 was about 4 or 5 months wasn't it?

Does this mean we can expect S-5 sometime around June? Assuming Channel 5 is consistent (a big if).

Good news: Channel Five have bought the rights to show Season Five. Qualifying news: their licence from MTV will not allow C5 to show S5 until September.

Guess we should point out that this is to protect MTV from themselves, if they hadn't put back their showing of the second half of S3, then we wouldn't have had this rider :) (For those that are new round here and don't know MTV put back the showing of the second half os Season 3 meaning that the UK & Australian viewers got to see some of the episodes before the US ones).

Channel Five plan to start showing the fifth (and probably final[1]) series in September. This is the earliest date permitted by the licence conditions which MTV imposed when C5 bought the rights to S5.
