Do you think MTV will be risque enough to flirt with the idea of alternative sexuality between Daria and Jane or Andrea and one of the two? Trent is clueless to her adoration of him and all the other guys are either geeky or stupid. (For the record, I'm straight.)

*grin* For some reason, I've always thought of Andrea as a lesbian. That was my first impression of her, and it hasn't changed much, though it'd be cool if she was bi, instead.

OH CHRIST! Grow up. The only thing you'd have to worry about is if having a character do something "Gay" would turn the programme into a political monologue. But there is no reason to think that that would happen. Christ. And if your problem with this is anything other than this, then I really don't think you deserve Daria at all.

THere is no way in Hell Daria and Jane should ever become lovers. I don't think it's ever going to happen between Daria and Trent though either. She is just too scared. Besides she's 16 and he's at least 21. She's mature enough, but I don't think he has enough ambition for her.
