Well, it was bad enough when Wraith decided to close Sick Sad World. But this I think is worse because I don't know what happened to Katherine. Not even a message to tell us she was going.

You suck. Everyone here agrees that you suck. Crawl back into the hole from whence you came. You are not welcome here. Go get some Prozac and get a freakin' life.

I'll have to mention this, seeing as I'm hoping he says this. . . . If someone asks me why I don't have a life, I usually grab my wrist, feel for my pulse, and scream "Oh My God, you're right, I don't have a pulse!!!" and then I fall over and play dead. . .

I could live without the friends. It kinda gets annoying when I am forced to participate in a 'salt fight' as I was today. (ie, someone steals 50 packets of salt from the canteen at lunch time and proceeds to empty the contents on to the head of whoever is least likely to hit them. Cover your hair and eyes.)

~*~*~Alli~*~*~ "Touch me, I'm sick!"

I eat lunch alone. Every day. We have open campus, and there are several fast food places immediately accross the street. In order to avoid the embarassment (and the vulnerability. Large groups of people love to pick on single individuals), I walk several blocks to a video store with a snackbar, then walk aimlessly around town for the 30 minutes I'm trying to kill. I try to time it so I get back to school right as the bell rings.

Why did you think this post will start a My life sucks thread ? I'd rather bet for a 'I love my live even if some people say that it's not a *normal* life' thread. By the way, have you ever noticed that when you walk aimlessely, you walk faster than when you've got an aim ? (as long as we can have one). And have you noticed that when you're Daria-ing, no Jane Lane at sight ?

Yeah. But my aim is to try to walk as slow as possible. I guess I'm a naturally slow walker anyway, though.

I'm very fast too, but when I'm walking home, it's usually with my friend who is an unbelievably fast walker. I have to almost run to keep up with her, and of course noone can keep up with me at my normal pace, so it gets kinda silly. Normally we're with some slower walkers, which means that they lag behind, I'm a few metres in front, and my other friend is rapidly disappearing from view.

I hadn't noticed that. I know that large groups of people walk slower than individuals; I've never worked out why, though. Maybe it's 'cos the sort of people who are in large groups are too busy trying to light their cigarettes to go very fast.

Being the victim of a high school fruit-cup attack I can verify the truth of this statement. They had lids on them so it wasn't messy but those cups had some sharp edges.

My life would suck if I had a life. You see, i'm a UCB cyborg. My heart exploded about a month ago, that kind of sucked.

So were you the victim or were you forced to torment the poor student? My school put out industrial-sized salt shakers on an empty table in the middle of the cafeteria so the popular prank was to take the lid off and simply set back on top. The first person who tried to use it ended up with a pint of salt on their fries. Some people didn't seem to mind.

There isn't really a victim, it's usually more of an "everyone grab some salt and throw it at everyone else" type thing. Usually, most of it ends up on Carla, who's quite small and reacts hilariously to such situations. Plus, Andrew has a crush on her (I'm pretty certain, anyway) and he's usually in charge of who gets picked on.

We have those little packet things. Someone goes to buy some fries and returns with his/her pockets full of the things. Occasionally, someone is dared to try to eat all the salt out of one of them (there's a surprisingly large amount) but so far, noone has taken the challenge, which is just as well, seeing as how it'd almost certainly make you puke.

actuallly, people would commit suicide in medevil japan by eating a pound of salt.

Sorry to get back on the topic of ancient japanese suicide, but.. it just interests me.

Where would you find out about such things? I mean, it's not exactly the sort of thing you study in history class, is it? Having said that, history class would be made infinitely more interesting if they put ancient japanese suicide on the GCSE syllabus...

~*~*~Alli~*~*~ "Touch me, I'm sick!"

Well, it's from that book of facts that i was using earlier.. another one you might find interesting... "A form of murder in ancient Japan was to take Tiger's wiskers, chop them up finely, and then pour them into a victim's beverage while they weren't looking. The wishers would cut into the victim's asophagus and throat when ingested. This would leave them to die slowly and painfully by many many internal wounds. Eventually, they would die of internal bleeding."

Po I've found someone to perform with.

One suicide method I have read about that is neither ancient or Japanese is to get some of that razor wire you might see on a prison fence. Find a room to unravel it in and simply roll around in it until you bleed to death. If you want to take it one step further, find a source of high-voltage electricity and connect it to the razor wire. The electricity will cause your body to convulse and roll and get cut to shreds by the wire.

- Sometimes it helps if you just give him a name or something. Some how it makes it easier to take. if you just give it a name you can think of it as a friend and your doing it a favor or something. We're not allowed out of school without a lunch pass, and there's nowhere to go anyways where there are none of the large groups of people like those you mentioned, so when I had noone to eat lunch with, I'd go in the Art room and pretend to be working, 'cos you can do that if you've got coursework. But currently I have some friends, so we all eat in there, because all of us take Art and it's much too cold to sit outside now. That's how you know when it's winter, the Art room fills up every lunch. Oh, yeah, and there's fries all over the floor in the afternoon. Nice.
