Can someone point me to a FAQ for binary newbies? I'm relatively familiar w/the net and newsgroups, but have no idea whatsoever how to download binaries and burn them to VCD.

First off, you'll need Winrar 3.x and someting to deal with pars, IE: FSRaid.

I would also highly recommend you use a good newsreader, IE: Xnews. http://xnews.newsguy.com

In Xnews, to decode binaries: Highlight everything you need, press space, press F4. Space = Queue/Dequeue, F4 = Decode.
