I just saw the clip on the MTV site of "Jane's Addiction". This looks really good guys.It gives a more in depth look at Jane and Daria in a conflict, better than SJR.

I can see the final shot of the episode, Daria on one side, this Tom on the other, and Jane in the middle, both confronting her for her final decision on who she chooses, the last shot we see is of Jane looking torn between the two of them, and then roll credits before she speaks.
The episode will probably prove me wrong, but could you imagine the buzz it would create in this ng if the show did turn out like this? What would the reaction here be of a Daria cliffhanger episode?
