DESPERATELY SEEKING (mtv's) "DARIA" -

SWM (S = seperated) iso SWF, 22-32 - cynical, selective and skeptical....looks for integrity rather than "success" (money) or frivolous experience....."alternative" and open minded but not indiscriminate and insane. Must have respect for oneself and a somewhat consistent personality. No drunks or HARD drug users or history of. Casual types need not reply.

(I am currently in the SF Bay Area - 510/415, but am considering a move to Wilmington, NC - 910

Hmmm... what would Daria have to say about someone desperate enough to go hunting for a mate on a Usenet newsgroup? The possibilities are endless...

Yes, but I think she would also check to be sure that it was necessarily "desperation" rather than a calculated and quite non-desperate attempt to find like minded people. The title of the post itself was intended to be slightly humorous and nothing more.

I also wonder what she would say about folks who have nothing better to do than bust on those that would admire her kind. I'd venture to say that in this particular situation, she would probably say that you sir, were the desperate one. Desperate for attention. Why else would you post what you did?

.....thank you and good day.

Perhaps. Perhaps not. Isn't it amazing that in a newsgroup, it's hard to tell for certain? The mind boggles.

She'd probably say that that's the reason why you posted this message as well. If, as you say, I'm in desperate need of attention, it's nice to see that I'm in good company. IF that is indeed the case, of course, which I would only presume based on the evidence at hand until proven otherwise.

And you as well.

I hope you remember to purchase your hurricane tracking chart before you move! (To Wilmington, that is.) <g> I've got ties to Wilmington (was just there visiting relatives last month) and I can tell you, the place is rapidly changing, although the downtown area by the river is getting to be a better and better place to go out at night. (Notice that I didn't say safer, just better, as in more fun stuff to do.) Kinda like downtown Chapel Hill, but with a river and a battleship, and no GAP (but no Crook's either).

Mr. O'Neill: Let's pledge to make Daria's dream a reality!

Daria: You mean the one where people walking down the street burst into flames?

Mr. O'Neill: The coffeehouse!
