Yayy! Finally showing 203!

Thank goodness they're showing Quinn the Brain tonight! That's the only one I've missed this season, and I'm dying to see it!

I know this is a trivial request-- but would someone here post the times during the week that MTV broadcasts Daria? I've only found the show by accident-- never when I looked for it. MTV doesn't do a good job of scheduling it or promoting it, in my opinion.

Is Daria broadcast more than twice a week?

Go to MTV's web site, then go to the TUBESCAN page. The start page should have that day's schedule, and if you look on the index on the left there's an option to select the Weekly Schedule. It lists episode numbers for most of the shows.

I think it is a good request. I believe that Daria is on the tenspot on Mondays but don't quote me on that.

Planet Daria keeps a biweekly schedule up (doesn't help me much, unfortunately - I don't have cable anymore, so I'm stuck watching tapes my friends make for me).

Well, there in the same spot Comedy Central was with MST3K when it started : while it has a strong (fanatical?) core audience, its mass appeal isn't very high (thank Fortuna!). MST3K eventually caught on to a larger audience, not by flogging it heavily, but by its cult status - as word of mouth spread, people tuned in to see what the fuss was about. In the end, though, it was always a niche show, and when CC committed heavily to it they got badly burned (esp. since it was already in the sixth season and begining to wind down). Unlike CC, however, MTV has other shows (mostly crappy ones, to be sure) which can carry it, and can indulge the Daria audience a bit without it being a runaway smash.

Usually, but its really inconsistent. Most weeks its on Monday 10pm (the main slot), and then Saturday at 1am, but it seems to change from week to week. They sometimes play it three or four times over the week, other times just the Monday show.
