Daria VHS

According to the Irony Maiden, there are quite a few Daria VHS releases. The only ones I can ever find are Daria and Disenfranchised. Were the others ever released in the US or am I just not looking hard enough?

According to the Viacom source who has been friendly with DVDaria (NEW URL: http://www.the-wildone.com/dvdaria/ -- now with NO GEOCITIES POPUPS), US fans screwed the pooch on getting more Daria episodes on VHS by not buying the ones that MTV released.

Well, folks didn't want to buy them mainly because they didn't have the opening titles, original music or alter egos, sure...but UK/European fans weren't as discriminating, which is why they have five VHS releases.

The point I'm making here is, if you haven't yet, BUY IIFY ON DVD. Sales are the only real way to get MTVs attention. With a bit of luck and sublte pressure, perhaps we can get series DVDs and they won't be themed -- rather, in original running order.

You're looking hard enough. The UK merchants mentioned at The Irony Maiden will supply US customers.

I dare say you've already studied the advice at The Irony Maiden for US fans who want to view PAL format tapes, but if not, it's wise to do so before placing an order.

With all these products, whether it's Daria on VHS or Daria on DVD, brisk sales of what's already released is the surest way to encourage MTV and their licensees to release more.
