Why is everybody describing the piercing as "stupid"? True, it may not be something that Daria wants to do right now, But it's hardly a life-wrecking catastrophe. Personally I'd love to get pierced, but I know that I'd have trouble slipping it past my parents (witness the final scene of "Pierce Me").

Also, it's not as if Daria totally regretted it - there was a sense of disappointment when she told Jane that it had healed.

nope - the piercing was stupid - it was unlike Daria and it was too much different from all the other episodes

I can't remember which thread, but I know that I've seen the word being used.
