Obligatory spoiler space...
Whew! All done.
First impressions:
Thank God no more "fantasy" episodes! I breathed a sigh of relief about 10 minutes into the episode: "Whew. It isn't gonna suck."
This one was pretty good - not great or anything (B level at first blush), but it did shed some more light on Brittany/Kevin's break and makeup relationship (which had been hinted at numerous times)...as well as showing us that conflict is in the air for the fashion club :-) And that Sandi *does* have more influence than Quinn does...although the way that Quinn ends up winning, Daria and Jane end up not winning but not losing either, and the Fashion Club losing rather badly was kinda interesting...(thinks back to Fair Enough among other things for a moment)
I really like the way that Daria actually appeared interested in someone other than Trent - something we only saw in The New Kid. And true to form Jane is still much more adventurous than Daria...
So far I'd say that the season is ending up the way that Daria and Jane rated their day at the end - just barely more plusses than minuses so far :)
And the decorations were pretty cool in a someone-just-got-run-over kind of way. Casting Upchuck as the DJ was no stretch given he's previously played that role at the wedding show...And Mr. O'Neill actively attempting to return Ms. Barch's affections??? Wow, he's finally getting some guts...err...wait a sec...he didn't quite pull off his request after all that practive...oh well, it's a start :p
Ok, enough for now...gotta get up early 'cause the house is being fumagated tommorrow...
