It's blonde, according to the MTV promo (on TV, not the website). Jane also says that she wants to bleach her hair, and she and Daria read off several shades of blonde. This is in response to anyone who said it'd be purple, and of course things can change. But I'd say it's pretty convincing for now that the color is indeed blonde.
Ah!!!! That is so *wrong*..... Is it just me, or does every new episode latley seem like it could just as easily pass as a piece of mid-rate fanfiction?

It's just you. This season comes off as WAYYYY better than last season (IMO the worst season so far). So many excellent episodes already (I Loathe a Parade, Psycho Therapy, Fire!), other [just] good episodes (Partner's Complant, Murder She Snored, Mart of Darkness, Legends of the Mall), then some average ones (Antisocial Climbers, A Tree Grows in Lawndale, The F Word), finally the boring/sucky ones (Of Human Bonding-- boring, Groped by an Angel--sucky).
This, in comparison to the past three seasons:
Season 3: Excellent (Daria! Season 2: Excellent (Arts 'N' Crass, Quinn the Brain, Gifted, See Jane Run, Write Where It Hurts); Good (I Don't, Monster, Ill, Fair Enough); Average (The Daria Hunter, That Was Then, This Is Dumb, Pierce Me); Boring/Bad (The New Kid-- boring)
Season 1: Excellent (The Invitation, Cafe Disaffecto, Road Worrier, The Misery Chick); Good (Esteemsters, Malled, The Lab Brat, Pinch Sitter, The Big House, The Teachings of Don Jake); Average (Too Cute); Boring/Bad (College Bored-- boring, This Year's Model-- boring)
Now, I know there are more "bad" epsiode in season 4 than 3, but the thing is, the excellent epsiode are that much better to pull it forward so to speak. If this next episode is anywhere near as good as "I Loathe a Parade" (which is still better than "Fire!" IMO, because the humor was excellent and much more existant) then I may have a new favorite season (season 2 is my favorite so far; so many great episodes!). Still, all this is completely my opinion, and you may walk all over it all you want. And that's bout all I hafta say.

I won't go into the episodes, themselves, with 1 exception, but I agree season 3 was the worst, though I think season 4 has already surpassed season 2, as the best. The worst of season 4, IMO which was prolly MSS, which in itself isn't really bad, just the lowest of sea. 4, about a B-, blows the worst of any other season away, and this years best, ILAP, PT, PC, and Fire! are as a group better than any 4 eps from any season, again, IMO. Agree or disagree at will.

for anyone who's ever got thier hair colored when you bleach it the paste/dye stuff they put in your hair is blue/purple. so it makes you're hair look purple till you rinse it out.
