this doesn't have anything to do with anything, but it's an amusing daria-related story i thought you'd all get a laugh out of.
if you're familiar with the rocky horror picture show, you know that audience participation is key. at a recent showing of the movie on my campus, during the "floor show" sequence when everyone falls into the pool, someone yelled out the classic line, "waiter, there's a transvestite in my soup!" then a buddy of mine, completely off the cuff, proceeded to yell "Are transvestites breeding in your swimming pool? Next, on 'Sick Sad World'!" exactly like the announcer on "Daria". only a handful of us actually caught the reference, but it was amusing for the "Daria" fans in the audience.
