Bored? Take a survey.

While I was out of town over thanksgiving and after 30 hours without sleep I thought of a way to help promote a deeper sense of community among the regulars of alt.tv.daria and give newbies and lurkers a better idea of who we are and what we are into on an individual basis. As I read the results of Martin Sylvester's "alt.tv.daria posters & readers survey" I, like others, have noticed there are more lurkers and ocasional posters than there are regulars posters. perhaps the lurkers would be more compelled to participate if they knew they shared some of the same interests with the regular and occasional posters. Those who choose to participate will be asked to fill out a simple questionaire listing their favorite music, television shows, books etc... All questions will be optional, you don't have to answer any question that you don't want to answer. There will be no rule controlling who can or cannot add to the list, all who contribute are welcome. The list will not be limited to music/TV/books, If you like a certain computer game, software, or anything else a new category will be created.

here is the questionaire so far. for questions with multiple answers please try to narrow it down to 10 or less.

music- List your favorite band(s)/musician(s)/performer(s). Name your favorite album. name the most unusual album in your collection.

Television- list your favorite overall show(s) name your favorite Drama name your favorite Comedy name your favorite Cartoon (if Daria is your favorite cartoon then please add your second favorite cartoon also)

Literature- list your favorite author(s) list your favorite book(s) (fiction) list your favorite book(s) (non fiction) what are you currently reading? who is your favorite poet? what is your favorite poem?

How do you want your name to appear on the list? Do you want your e-mail address to appear on the contact list at the bottom of the document? (y/n)

As the results come in I will start to put the list together and put it up on my webspace at MagicNet.
