Where's the DVD petition?

Seriously, what do you guys think about the chances of the whole of Daria appearing on DVD in the future? Is there a fan base big enough to make the DVDs "economically viable?" (Even "My So-Called Life" apparently doesn't.)

Should I stop asking stupid questions like this until the sales numbers for IIFY are in?

If anyone from MTV/Paramount is monitoring this froup: I for one would buy a reasonably priced Daria DVD collection, even without any extras, without hesitation.

I Would buy on VHS, I currently own all the comercially released Daria VHS videos (about half a dozzen).

The funny thing is that regions were created under the false hope of increasing licensing rights by preventing global distribution, and that their very existence, in a case like Daria's, causes the market in each zone to be too small to be economocally viable, whereas a multi-region DVD could be sold on the worldwide market and be economically viable due to equivalent costs for a larger market. Talk about backfire...

That's what Region 0 is for -- according to the standard, it can be played on any DVD player.

Sure. Now how many of these do you see coming from majors ? At times it seems the only multi-zone discs are those used as backup media, without any video content at all :-)
