...from a very very VERY crap holiday...

i kinda got the idea things were going to go the wrong way when i started crying for no apparent reason while sitting on the beach on the second day of holiday. that evening i 'escaped' and went to the sea with the intention of drowning myself in it, but there were people wandering around, which would have kinda doomed any suicide attempt to failure. errm.. things didn't get significantly better after that...

I'm so sorry you had a terrible time during your holiday. Really. Wish some Trent-like figure could've come and rescued you from the horrors and pathos that seemed to have surrounded you when you were supposed to be out relaxing. If you ever need a counselor, therapist, soother of souls, etc., don't be afraid...I'm here for ya. (I know, that all sounds way too sappy, but I've been feeling this way ever since someone told me to "rise above" adversity when I poured out to them how I feel hurt whenever anyone foists upon me their hurtful ideas of what Texans are like.)

So sue me if I sound like an Oprah guest. No wait...if I ever get that bad please PLEASE shoot me.

That would have been appreciated, yes. ;)

I have two more holidays to get through this year, which shouldn't be quite as bad.. I am going to Greece (the north, where i don't think i have been before) later in the summer, and then Italy (where i also have not been before) in the autumn. I'm quite looking forward to going to Italy; i probably won't be dragged round the arcades there, although i doubt any 3ft "sand penises" will be constructed (<LOL> don't ask..).

thank you :)

Will do. ;)

What you needed was a Great White Shark.

You mean the rumour we heard concerning a four foot penis was false?

that probably wouldn't have helped, as the water was so cold i'd have probably frozen to death before the shark could finish me off.

yes.. it was only about three foot. ;) it was a bit pathetic, partly because at least one of its constructors had never seen a penis. i didn't participate, i just watched and took a photo of the aforementioned constructor pretending to "shag" it. <g>
