oldies but goodies

MTV has been showing only season 5 repeats between season 5 new episodes this season - at least until now.

On Saturday May 19 MTV is *SCHEDULED* (according to tvguide.com) to show four episodes beginning at 7:00 AM, one episode from each of the first four Daria seasons: The Teachings of Don Jake (glitterberries ho!), Quinn the Brain ("... or do you want to take away my wardrobe, too?"), It Happened One Nut ("I've always dreamed of the day my picture would hang in a nuthouse"), and Legends of the Mall (girls just want to have fun!).

Except for "Quinn the Brain", all these were in the Sarcastathon.

There are also two episodes scheduled for Friday May 18 beginning at 2:30 PM. No episode titles are listed on tvguide.com or tvgrid.com.

Of course, Monday May 21 is the end of the mid-season break and "One J at a Time".

That's if MTV 'honors' this schedule or blows the Daria reruns off again to show another repeat of 'Spring Break Uncensored' or those dull 'Diary' episodes...

Yeah, but even TVGRID gets it wrong. It's not their fault because of MTV is constantly changing it's line up at the last minute.

Sometimes you have to check the schedule at the MTV site DAILY to get a correct listing of what's coming on.

For example: MTV showed an hour of 'Downtown' last week at midnight and I missed an opportunity to tape it.

I caught half of the first episode and the second episode was one I already had.

They've already changed it. On MTV's site Friday now has FOUR episodes scheduled, from 1:30 to 3:30PM. :-)

Actually, it looks like they're showing the same four episodes on Friday as on Saturday.
