New video release in PAL format! Yay!

PAL format is used in the UK and many other countries.

I hate to disappoint you, but ...

I found this tape on Amazon. It's just a longer tape containing all the episodes that were on the previous two MTV tapes ("Daria" and "Daria Disenfranchised")

Actually, I have another question (Sorry!).

I have the UK release of the first _Daria_ tape, and the US release of "Disenfranchised." I can't see "See Jane Run" on either of these, though I know it's on the new tape. Is "See Jane Run" on the US release of the first _Daria_ tape?

Hmmm. Maybe you DO have a new a different tape not available in the US. What episodes ARE on the new tape?

Information recently received (in the last half hour) suggests that this tape contains the episodes "See Jane Run," "Daria Dance Party," and "Jane's Addition."

I'm waiting for a reply from Paramount confirming this (or otherwise). Any news I get will appear on the Daria News Ticker on The Irony Maiden, and I'll keep updating the Daria video page at The Irony Maiden.

Sorry if this is repeated info but in the Oz edition of the latest Rolling Stone mag there is an ad for win the ultimate mtv weekend. In this ad there is a pic of a new Daria vid called "school dysfunctions" it is out now. I have not found any info on what eps are on this vid, Im hoping it contains "Pinch Sitter" as my copy is missing the first minute or so.

Digging about a bit, I find it was released in Oz on 6th April; HMV in Oz are asking AUD18.95 for it. I failed to find out which episodes it contains. It does not seem to have been released in the UK or USA.

The pic on the cover of the vid is of Daria and Jane in front of a locker, with Jane holding an animal skull. If Im correct it is from the ep "The Old and The Beautiful" So I'm thinking that this ep is on the video. The second vid had a pic of Daria and Jane at the mall, the one they went to in malled. I hope this helps you Martin.

Thanks, manda! It's a logical assumption that the cover stills are from the eps inside, but the people who choose cover art aren't always logical, so (as you hint) we'll have to be a bit cautious. 8-)
