Did anyone else notice at the end of 505 - The story of D, that Daria, was playing some sort of three d shooter, looked a little like a cross between Wolf3D and something more modern, so I guess that kinda settles that argument :) Also the computer she was playing on definatly had a mouse with two buttons, and so is probably not a Mac :) Ok yes you can use 2 button mice on the modern macs, but IIRC they still come with single button mice by default.

I have really liked the last couple of episodes, The Story of D and Lucky Strike, more than mad up for the poor IMHO start to the season, then again season 4 started off a bit lame and got *much* better towards the end.

If Daria wanted more up-to-date systems she wouldn't put up with hand-me- downs. She's demonstrated many times that she knows how vulnerable Helen is to accusations that she's not doing enough for her children, and she wouldn't hesitate to observe that giving your daughter a secondhand computer is like giving her secondhand love. Also, Helen's a shrewd enough negotiator to know that a brand new computer is a much bigger favor than a used one, and can be used to call in a big favor (e.g., signing up for an extracurricular activity) in the future. (Besides, if Daria couldn't get a new computer from Helen, she could always go to Jake, who's a lot easier to flummox.) So I think it's safe to say that Daria has exactly the system she wants...

It reminded me of Wolfstein 3D too. I spent many a pleasant hour blowing away Nazis long about 1991-1992 with that thing. That's Daria. Quinn would never get into a game like that.

Got Beavis and Butthead for Quake 2. They're a two entity model (the player is both Beavis and Butthead who kick each other in the groin when they get hurt, or Beavis does the shirt over the head routine).

A year ago, I made a Daria skin for Quake 2. But I must warn you, it is NOT very good. In fact, it's bad.

(I only made this because no one else has made a model/skin of her, and was hoping someone would come along and do a better one. But alas, no one cared enough to make one.)
