Utterly useless post

I have a couple more pages to write on this report (A comparison between the Leopold and Loeb case of the 1920s and the recent Columbine shootings), and then I'm done - at least for today. I don't know why I'm posting here, to relieve stress I guess. I have a few more deadlines looming down on me (about 5 more), and I'm just beat. This is what happens when you procrastinate a little too much. I really should learn not to let things slide so often.. it just accumulates at the end.

Anyway, to summarize my replies to some of you:

1) Hang in there MSB. Life may suck at times, but it usually isn't all that bad at the end. As it is, it's a learning experience. My boyfriend would say "the worst thing she could say is 'yes'". And that's basically because if she does say "yes I'll go steady with you," you'll have a whole OTHER boatload of things to worry about - which may or may not be that pleasant. One bad side effect would be a long distance relationship - something I know all too well.

  • I *like* my number 42, thank you very much.

3) Beware the squirrels, kill the Olsen twins, and drive a stake through Barney.

  • Long live the evil matriarchy!
  • Hope you folks had a decent Thanksgiving. Mine sucked.

Well, that's about it I think. I MAY give a more thorough reply when I'm finished with my report.

yours,

Nicole Lee

Aaaaah! i'm trying to not feel guilty about my procrastination by a.t.d.-ing out, and the reminder follows! Aaaah! Don't worry Nicole, just think about that nice big diploma...

I just don't know how that first Thanksgiving would have ended, if the Indians had brought Tofurky to the feast.

Makes you wonder.

Well, me. maybe.

I guess Tofurky (or is it Tofurkey) is short for tofu turkey. Has anyone ever tried it? How does it taste? I know of only one good vegetable-based meat replacement and that is the stuff Burger King uses for what they call "Country Burger" here. It tastes so realistic, like a real burger. I wonder if they just pretend it is made from vegetables. The only bad thing about it is that you always have to wait for it. They make that one only on request (seems there are not many vegetarians around here). MSB

p.s.: I tried a meat burger from Burger King back when I was still a cadaver-eater and I couldn't finish half of it. It made me sick. Do you think McDonalds and Burger King add special chemicals that react with the other companies burgers to make them taste yucky? You know, I was a big McDonald's fan back then but that Burger King puke, eeew?

Heh - nah, neither of them are all that scrupulous about content. Dagny could tell you about the way they run Burger Kings.

Of course. That's the reason why I'd never be afraid of eating meat at McDonald's or BK despite the mad cow disease. Their meat is too old to be infected with that. If "this stuff in the freezer" is meat in the first place. I think they just call it "meat" because it's neither vegetable nor fruit and they don't have a better word for it. MSB
