I'm beyond incensed that Outpost Daria would be closed. I'm beyond incensed MTV would care so little about the value of fansites that they would pressure the closing of this, the fansite that probably brought the most viewers to "Daria". Thusly, I'm going to start a petition. If anyone would like to sign up for this petition, which will then get forwarded over to MTV's execs, please e-mail me at the special e-mail of

and tell me you want the Outpost to return. It would also help if you could write a little paragraph or two to explain why you want the premier fansite to return and why it's such a bad idea for MTV to pressure its closure. Who knows, maybe if we give them enough hell they'll back off on this stupidest of moves.
