But is it Daria?

This is just to make a slightly premature announcement of my Daria webpage, a prototype of which is now up at the Last Stop Cafe (URL in sig).

On entering the site, select the TV testcard, which leads to a slideshow of testcard girls. Clicking on the testcard surround advances through the images. When you reach a girl you're interested in, eg. Daria, click on her image to go to her page.

The Daria page has a couple of very short WAV files, one of which should play once on loading. Hopefully these will work ok, though in the past I've found sound files to be a rich source of incompatibilities.

I'll be adding more substance to the page later.

There seems to have been some controversy recently over people pinching each other's Daria web stuff. Apart from an image of Daria watching TV that I grabbed from Outpost Daria last week for a stopgap page (and even this has been adjusted and recompressed), all sounds and images are by my own fair hand, ie. stolen directly from Daria broadcasts on TV, only to end up having practically every pixel redrawn and every note retuned. C'est la vie.

I've just re-organised my site, the Last Stop Cafe, to make it easier to find recent updates: there's now a Stop Press bulletin on the cafe noticeboard which links directly to recent items of interest, such as the Daria pages. I've also replaced my occasional series of My So-Called Life quotes on the homepage, I'm now using Daria quotes instead.

There are now 10 Daria screenshots on the site, some icky Quinn wallpaper, two sing-along-with-Daria soundbites, and of course the fan-fiction interview with Daria Blenkinsop.
