May or may not be of interest, but I just learned of a short story (maybe novel/novella?) by PK Dick titled...Through a Scanner Darkly. Coincidence wrt S3's Through a Lense Darkly? Hmmmmm....

they have a common source from the Bible... "through a glass darkly" or something to that effect, that our sight on Earth is limited compared to heaven, or something like that. I could be messed up, I'm pissed off at God right now, or at least the NoneListers view of him, which is as the giant master of making sure good things happen to popular people
