Heya all...finally got a chance to do some stuff at LC.
Lawndale Commons will be participating in Operation: Blackout, the fansite blackout that is being held in protest of Fox's treatment of fansites.
Ah, but "Daria" is on MTV, and Viacom/MTV Networks has been very good to fansites or at least hasn't gone on a Foxing binge since "Beavis and Butt-Head" was popular...
True, but nevertheless we need to stand in solidarity with the rest of the fan community. Fox is out of control, and they need to be reminded who pays their salaries. That's right...us fans!!!
So we'll be involved with O:B and I suggest that the rest of you with "Daria" fansites join me on May 13th and paint the WWW black!!!!
I have another plan to help the effort to fight these crackdowns, and the plan will be revealed on May 14th.
