But this ng is so understanding and open-minded, they don't see people as losers. They need someone to dump their frustrations out on, like "normal" people do, otherwise they build up and turn into flame wars.

I feel the same way about myself. I am more open about myself in newsgroups than in real life, it seems. I bet a lot of people are like this, though.

But I don't consider myself a loser, not even in joking.
