Cautions about Daria Sick Sad Life Planner

Hey all,

It looks like Sick Sad Life Planner doesn't like to run on non-Intel machines. On my K5-166, the program really runs poorly...scrolling is slow and graphics kind of munge themselves. I have more than enough of a 2D graphics card to run it properly...it is not an issue of insufficient video memory. There are no 3D graphics anywhere in the program. And it's not RAM either...I have 64MB in my machine.

If you are running a faster Intel chip, you should be OK. But all of us with AMD or Cyrix or WinChip computers should be careful.

p.s.: For those who didn't get it, the main advantage of the WinChip is its low power consumption and resulting low heat emission. AFAIK you don't need a processor fan to cool it.
