Stacy's impression of Tiffany

Was it just me or did Stacy's impression of Tiffany crack you up? Poor Stacy--admires Quinn, gets nothing for it, did so much work behind the scenes, got no thanks, even arranged for the boys to come over for a free frame discussion---girls in bikinis, and just was frustrated beyond belief.

"I am sick of doing all the work while you *just sit there and look at yourself in the mirrroor [SIC]*!" (*Tiffany voice).

Maybe later she'll do the Sandy voice.

"Why don't you take a picture Tiffany?! It will last longer!" "But..I don't have a cam-era."

Stacy did almost open up to Daria and Jane, but then spoiled it as they weren't popular enough to understand her pain on the ferris wheel.

It wasn't just you :-)

It showed that, stripped of her timidity, Stacy can be witty and creative. If she had just blown up and screamed at the top of her lungs and called Tiffany a no-good lazy blankety-blank, the scene would have been MUCH less effective.

I'd like to see that :-)

That was a great scene, but one of the things I liked about #503 was that we finally found out some more about Tiffany. She was always a mystery to me. I knew little about her because she did so little. There were many ep's where she said maybe one sentence and that was that.

Now we know what's really going through Tiffany's head. I thought it was just an endless burst of radio static. It's actually, "My face, my face, my beautiful precious fa-a-a-ce."

Sounds like Bender in Futurama raving about his ass.

Check out episode #307 Daria! (the musical) if you've taped it (it was in the Sarcastathon). Near the end, during the song "The Big Wet Rainstorm's Over", there's a scene with Tiffany, Sandi and Stacy in Tiffany's bedroom. Tiffany's room is filled wall-to-wall with pictures of herself.

In FLM, we see Tiffany's bedroom also. There's one large picture of herself on the wall behind the bed, and one other pic. It seems to be of some hunky blond guy, IIRC. Does anyone have the ep on video? (I don't.) Does anybody recognize the guy in that picture?

That was a GREAT impersonation of Tiffany, and if Tiffany had any real intelligence, she would've caught on to the impersonation. As she was completely oblivious, however, we were left smiling. Stacy can be very witty and creative, indeed.

I'd love to see her do a great Sandi impersonation! How will Sandi react?

I hope Stacy gets a second chance to open up to Daria and Jane -- they could really help her out quite a bit.
