Don't know for sure, but I remember hearing "The Bad Touch" by Bloodhound Gang during that scene (you all know - the song with the infamous line "You and me baby ain't nothing but mammals/ so let's do it like they do it on the Discovery Channel")

it might have been "Blue" by eiffel 65(or 85, not good with numbers), because that's what it sounded like. I'll re-check.

It is. And it's 65.

That is without question the worst song ever recorded, the first time I heard it I nearly drove into the ditch. And my 8 yearold sister was in the car, Oh explaining that was delightful.

You *don't* like the line about doing it doggy-style so they can both watch "X-Files"? :-)

Hey, if we're getting into bad songs, how about "Summer Girls" by LFO or something like that. I happened to have the radio on two nights in a row and it was the first song that played both times. It drove me nuts.

by LFO or

in a row and it

Bad songs? This would fit that category: "If I had a Million Dollars" by Barenaked Ladies. Everyone around my school walks around singing it all day long! :P

So did I. I think that song's hilarious.

Actually, the worst song ever recorded is a tie with Cher for "Believe" (I heard that 3 times in a day! I thought my head would explode!) and Stroke 9's "Little Black Backpack." Catchy as fuck and very, very awful...

As much as I like humor intersperced with blood, I can't stand any song that has a tune like that...especially one that has an intro that reminds me of another song I like, almost duping me into thinking that it's that song, and I'm rambling.

~Aabi you agree w/ me on the Cher, right? "I wasn't always the waiter with stumps for hands. No! Once I was Eric, the waiter with hands for hands!" ~KITH

Hey, I like the Cher song! Granted, it's been played to death, but if I like a song enough I don't mind.

bus to the mountains (story I don't want to go into) full through. It would NOT leave my head. I was complaining about it for hours. Then, when it was starting to leave, I heard it AGAIN! Then again...then I went insane. Literally. I had a breakdown...I still maintain that it was prompted by Cher.

To my mind, the worst song ever is one that came out maybe 20 years ago to cash in on the Brit club scene in Spain, or, more properly, to cash in on people's post-holiday nostalgia. It was called "E viva Espaa" and is the only song so bad that when a Nottingham night club played it a second time in an evening I left!

No disrespect intended to anyone who thinks that "E viva Espaa" is a fine specimen of the songsmith's craft. 8-)

I think that nauseating "Blue (Da Ba Di)" by Eiffel 65 played sometime around then. Unless you didn't mean THAT song....

If you think "Blue" is bad, find someone who's got the disc and listen to "My Console." I swear, one of the guys in the test lab at the office must have cued the thing up *every* time I came in.

My friend Daniel declared the Blue song his themesong. Especially the "da boo dee" part.

Of course, this is the guy who decided his life goal was to have a fake nervous breakdown on national TV, then laugh at all the people who believed that.

First, we're going to form a band. Each of us in the band will have specific media personalities. He will be the insane egocentric meglomaniac (are there any other kind?) and I will have the Superbitch Courtney-Love esque persona. We will have very public fake fights, for fun. Then he will have the breakdown. And I will laugh.
