Echo?

    I should probably already know this, being a credit-reading
newsgroup-perusing fan of the show and all that, but who/what is Echo?
Which voice does he/she/it do?  I noticed that singular moniker on the
end credit the other day and it's been driving me batty ever since.
    Also, in "The Big House" during the scenes where Daria is playing
Scrabble with her folks (I-N-C-A-R-C-E-R-A-T-E) and reading while Quinn
paces the floor, what is that wonderful bit of weird bossa-nova music
playing over it?  I want that record.
    Any info, as always, greatly appreciated.

As for the song in "Big House," I've already asked twice about that song. I've even done lyrics searches on the only intelligible bits of song. Result? Zip. Zilch. Nichts. Nada. Rien. Niechyevo.

See, i always thought that ECHO was a voice-generating computer system. Because, it definatley stands for something.
