MS THEMES!!

Well judging from the feedback I've recieved (none) the Daria! the musical theme was a crashing failure. I'd like to make a Daria theme that people will actually download and enjoy. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What is a theme anyway? I saw they had some at the MTV website but I wasn't sure what they did. I presume they restyle your windows desktop in some way - is it just wallpaper & a colour scheme or is there more to it?

In windows 98 (which I lack) A theme changes all yr computer icons, like recycle bin, etc, too.

They can also be used if you have some "plus" thing for Windows 95 like an added extra

Well lets clarify a few things. 1. what is a theme? A MS theme replaces your background, some icons, and sounds (That's the biggie) and the good ones replace you're pointers but mine are not that good. :]

for example: in the Daria the musical theme when you empty recycle bin you'll hear Jane and Daria singing "I always knew that I would die in nowheresville....etc) you'll hear Ms. Li say CANCELED instead of that W95 bloop noise when a popup window appears. the quack phone sound when you minimise...etc.

2. DO I need W98 or some other evil microsoft program to use a theme? NO! there are lots of shareware/freeware programs that will install the themes for you! The one I use can be downloaded at:

You don't even install it, you just unzip it and run it, and then tell it where the theme file is and it does the rest.
