Daria and Quinn's Age and other questions

How much older than Quinn is Daria? In the "Boxing Daria" flashbacks, Quinn seemed about three years younger. Yet they have both been in high school for the duration of the series, and the time line of the series has to be at least three years...

And when did "Boxing Daria" take place? Before the last day of school, yet Tom was able to take off several days to go to the cove?

And did anyone transcribe Daria's speech when she got her award? I missed most of it, and would like to know exactly what she said...

I think an early online Q&A established that Quinn is about a year-and-a-half younger than Daria, and one year behind Daria in school. Quinn started the series as a freshman and ended it as a junior. Daria started as a sophomore.

Private schools can have very different schedules than public schools.
